Let's bury down domestic violence

PostDateIcon Thursday, 20 May 2010 15:59 | Print E-mail

No woman deserves being mistreated by man. Every woman is a princess and must be treated as such. Domestic violence is the only animal we must facilitate its extinction from the world.

Dear women, please stop defending and protecting men who mistreat you, who hurt you in anyway.

By doing this, you let them go around as respectable people, yet they are not that respectable.

Violence is more than physical, in fact at times psychological violence is more harmful and damaging than physical violence.

Dear women, please expose those who mistreat you, let the world know they are heartless. Shame them in public.

Don’t be ashamed of having been a victim of domestic violence. It’s not your fault. You are a victim who must be helped. Cry for help; do so even when you think nobody out there is listening. Someone may be listening.

Your persistent cry for help may force even those who don’t want to listen, to listen and do something. Don’t suffer in silence. Don’t tolerate it anymore. It is your cry, your loudest cry that will help the society bury down domestic violence.

And no one should dare visit that grave. It must be an unmarked grave.
